Nettles have been used medicinally for hundreds of years. In previous years, nettles were popular as a diuretic and could be applied externally for stimulation purposes. Now, nettles are most often used to treat urinary tract conditions, such as the symptoms relating to enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia [BPH]).

Nettle is frequently combined with saw palmetto to help with reduced urinary flow, urinary dripping, and the painful, constant urge to urinate. Nettle encompasses a broader spectrum of treatment than just urinary tract infections, however, and is even thought to be helpful for kidney stones. Nettles is also helpful in alleviating hay fever symptoms and in treating osteoarthritis, especially when using synergistically with anti-inflammatory medication.

Suggested Use: For use as a dietary supplement, adults take 35-40 drops (1/2 dropperful) in liquid one (1) to three (3) times a day, or as needed. Shake well before using.
