Fucoxanthin is a carotenoid found in the brown seaweed Wakame. It is widely found in Japanese grocery stores.

In recent years, studies have shown that this ingredient may be quite effective as a weight loss aid. For example, in one study, mice lost 10% of their body weight while taking Fucoxanthin. Fucoxanthin works by apparently increasing the rate by which abdominal fat burns.

Vitabase Fucoxanthin Plus contains Fucoxanthin, but also Hoodia and green tea. Hoodia is a popular appetite suppressant and green tea extract increases energy. Together, these ingredients combine for a powerful weight loss tool.

Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule three (3) times daily with food and 8 ounces of water. This product should be used in conjunction with a sensible diet and exercise program. Do not exceed three (3) capsules per day.
