Boosting Testosterone Levels

Hi, I would like to know which herbal product will aid in increasing the testosterone levels and increasing dopamine and neropinephrine levels?

There are several important issues to address when dealing with migraine headaches. One of the first things I recommend is to do an elimination diet that removes the most common food offenders (soy, wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts are a good start) from his diet for 6-8 weeks. After the 8 weeks is over, you start to introduce foods individually once every 3-4 days in an effort to isolate a migraine trigger. There are a wealth of books and information that detail how to successfully execute an elimination diet.

There are many theories as to what triggers migraine headaches. Chronic inflammation, structural imbalances and chemical deficiencies are all thought to play a potential role in migraines. There are a multitude of herbs, vitamins and other natural supplements that can be helpful.

The most commonly used herbs for helping with migraines are Butterbur and Feverfew. These two herbs are thought to work by inhibiting the chemical cascade that first triggers changes in the blood vessels around the brain that cause the pain associated with a migraine. There have been many studies showing the effectiveness of these herbs for treating migraines. Like all the suggestions mentioned here these are intended to be taken on a daily basis to prevent a migraine, rather than at the onset of symptoms.

A high quality omega-3 supplement like fish oil or cod liver oil is a great way to reduce overall levels of inflammation and can be an important factor in stopping the initiation of the migraine cascade.

Another possible consideration might be something called 5-HTP. This amino acid based supplement is a precursor for serotonin production. Many researchers have discovered a link between serotonin imbalances and migraine headaches. 5-HTP should not be taken if someone is taking another prescription anti-depressant mediation or any other medications that increase serotonin levels. If you are unsure, consult with your doctor before starting 5-HTP. Most 5-HTP capsules come in 50mg doses. I recommend starting at the lowest dose, particularly for younger individuals.
