Chestal by Boiron is formulated to relieve the uncomfortable symptoms associated with coughing. It combines herbs known for their ability to help an uncomfortable and unproductive cough: Antimonium tartaricum, Bryonia alba, Drosera rotundifolia, Sticta pulmonaria, Ipecacuanha, Pulsatilla, Rumex crispus and Spongia tosta. Antimonium tartaricum helps to loosen thick mucus while Coccus cacti helps to relieve a cough associated with a “tickle” in the throat. Bryonia alba alleviates painful and dry coughing.

Ipecacuanha offers great relief of coughing due to nausea. Sticta pulmonaria and Drosera rotundifolia give relief to night-coughs while Spongia tosta alleviates croupy, barking and dry cough. Pulsatilla alleviates a wet cough during the day that changes into a dry cough at night time. Rumex crispus relieves symptoms of cough caused by cold air inhalation.

Suggested Use: Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 teaspoons every 2 hours. Children 2 to 12 years: 1 teaspoon every 2 hours. Children under 2 years: Not recommended.
